About Me

I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree  in History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.   I graduated from Gonzaga Law School  in 1997, where I served as Associate Editor of the Gonzaga Law Review. 

I worked through law school as a legal intern in an insurance defense firm.  That firm hired me after graduation.  I came to realize after a few  years, I wanted to help people.  Not big corporations. To do that, I needed courtroom experience.  I went on to spend five years at the Spokane City Prosecutor's Office. After that I went into private practice.

Over the past twenty-five years, I've successfully tried cases in state and federal courts all over Washington State. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to successfully argue before the Washington State Supreme Court (State v. Veliz, Cause No. 85860-8). I've appeared pro hac vice in United States District courts in California and Texas.
